Cards, boxes and shirts

A heart is the easiest shape there is to cut, so the interest is in the variations: outlines to layer over solids, hearts joined in pairs, a heart struck through by an arrow, lace and mandala hearts for card fronts. For a classroom set of cards, the simple solid and outline hearts cut fastest; the heart set lists the cut length of each, which is a fair guide to cutting time.

Lace and mandala hearts have many small cut-outs. Cut them from card at 100 mm or more, and use a light-tack mat so the paper lifts without tearing.

Questions

Is there a heart I can put a name in?

Yes. Several hearts are outlines or frames with open centres, and the banner set pairs well with them.

Where are the designs that only have a small heart in them?

On the love page, which collects every design in the library that includes a heart, whatever its subject.
