Basket tags, egg decals and cards

Easter crafts are small. A basket tag is about 60 mm across, and a decal for a real or plastic egg is 25 to 35 mm, which is as small as cutting gets. For eggs, use the simplest bunny and flower silhouettes: at 30 mm only designs with no narrow parts survive, and the table on each design’s page shows which those are.

The crosses range from a plain Latin cross to Celtic and budded forms, for church crafts and cards. The patterned eggs are flat egg shapes with cut-out bands, zigzags and dots, made for cards, garlands and window decorations.

Questions

Which bunny suits a name or a monogram?

Look for the bunny designs with a blank panel or a split through the middle; they are made to hold a name.

Will vinyl stick to a real egg?

Permanent vinyl sticks to a clean, dry shell, but the curve is tight. Keep decals under 30 mm and cut small relief slits around the edge of larger ones.
