Signs above the cooker, the table and the sink

Match the saying to the spot. Today’s Menu Eat It or Go Hungry hangs by the table. The Dishes Are Looking at Me Dirty Again goes over the sink. Season Everything With Love belongs on a spice rack at 250 mm wide. Eat is three letters and can be cut 400 mm wide from wood or card and still be three easy pieces.

For a painted wooden sign, use the stencil plate of the saying: one piece, every closed letter bridged. A sign 500 mm wide takes the words at about 400 mm. Seal the board first if it hangs near the hob, where steam and grease reach it.

Tea towels, aprons and chopping boards

On a tea towel, cut the saying 180 mm wide in heat-transfer vinyl and place it a hand’s width above the hem, centred on the middle third, so it shows when the towel is folded over the oven door. On an apron bib, 200 mm. Mirror the file before cutting.

A chopping board made for show takes Bless This Kitchen at 200 mm wide, engraved or in permanent vinyl. A board that will be cut on should be engraved only, and on the side that is not used for food.
