Stars carry most patriotic designs, and the star set has them plain, outlined, rounded, in rows and in rings. A five-pointed star has sharp tips but no thin necks, so it cuts cleanly at any size, down to 10 mm for a field of small stars.
For bunting, cut the pennant shapes from the banner set in red, white and blue card. For a shirt, layer a solid star with its outline in a second colour. Fireworks are bursts of thin rays: keep them at 100 mm and above in vinyl.
Questions
Is there a flag design?
There is a star with a flag-style pattern in the star set. A full national flag is not in the library.
How small can I cut a star?
In vinyl, about 10 mm point to point. Smaller than that the tips lift when weeding.
