Cake toppers, banners and party shirts

A cake topper is the most demanding birthday make: it is cut from stiff card or acrylic, stands on thin sticks and must hold together. Choose a one-piece design, cut it 100 to 150 mm wide, and add two 3 mm wide stakes at the bottom in your cutting software.

For bunting, the banner set has pennant shapes and whole strings. For a birthday shirt, a crown or a cupcake at 150 to 200 mm leaves room below for a name and an age in your own lettering.

Are there numbers for ages?

Not yet. The library has no lettering or numerals so far; add them with any font in your cutting software.

What card weight suits a cake topper?

Glitter or plain card of about 250 to 300 gsm. Thinner card droops.
