Thanksgiving pieces are small and handled a lot, so pick sturdy shapes. A place card is about 90 by 50 mm, which leaves room for a 30 to 40 mm turkey or leaf beside a name. At that size choose designs whose narrowest part is still 1 mm or more; each design’s page shows it at one, two and three inches.
The banners and the pumpkins with a blank panel are made to carry a name or a word: add your own lettering in your cutting software, then weld or attach it to the panel.
Questions
Is there a turkey made from a handprint?
No. The turkeys here are drawn shapes with fan tails. A handprint turkey needs the child’s hand, which is the point of it.
Can I add a name to a design?
Yes. Type it in your cutting software, place it on a banner or a blank panel, and weld or attach the two.
