A decorated mortarboard is a 240 mm (9.5 inch) square, so a design for one is cut large and from card or vinyl; nearly everything in the library is sturdy at that size. For a card, a cap at 60 to 80 mm leaves room for a year and a name.
Laurel wreaths and banners are the frames for a class year. Set the year in your own numerals and centre it in the wreath or on the banner.

Is there a design with the class year?
No. The year changes and the library has no numerals. Add yours inside a wreath, frame or banner.
How big is a graduation cap for decorating?
Most are about 9.5 inches (240 mm) square. Measure yours before cutting.
