Chunky cross with round ends SVG

Chunky cross with round ends, as a solid black shape — Chunky cross with round ends. The preview is the SVG file itself.

A broad cross with beams 24 mm wide and every end rounded to a half circle. Round ends are kind to vinyl, which lifts first at sharp corners, and suit baptism and children’s designs.

Scaling a design scales its thinnest part too. Here is this one at seven sizes, from 1 to 12 inches on its longer side, with how many copies fit a 12 × 12 inch sheet or mat.

Size, width × height	Narrowest part	Cut length	Fit on a 12 in sheet	Rule of thumb
0.7 × 1 in (18 × 25 mm)	Over 1.5 mm	76 mm	130	Vinyl, card and thin sheet
1.4 × 2 in (36 × 51 mm)	Over 3 mm	152 mm	35	Any material, including 3 mm wood and acrylic
2.1 × 3 in (53 × 76 mm)	Over 4.6 mm	228 mm	15	Any material, including 3 mm wood and acrylic
2.8 × 4 in (71 × 102 mm)	Over 6.1 mm	304 mm	8	Any material, including 3 mm wood and acrylic
4.2 × 6 in (107 × 152 mm)	Over 9.1 mm	456 mm	2	Any material, including 3 mm wood and acrylic

8.4 × 12 in (213 × 305 mm)	Over 18 mm	911 mm	1	Any material, including 3 mm wood and acrylic

The narrowest part is the thinnest neck that holds the design together; sharp tips are not counted. For wood and acrylic, keep it at least as wide as the sheet is thick. How to open the file in Cricut, Silhouette and laser software.
