Free beer bottle SVG files

Free beer bottle SVG files: a longneck, a stubby, a swing-top and a growler, plus crossed bottles, a six pack, a bucket on ice, a crown cap and an opener. Every label is blank, with no names or marks, so you can add your own. Download as SVG, PNG or DXF.

Tall, thin and blank

A beer bottle is a tall, narrow shape, so a single bottle fills only about a third of its 100 mm height in width. The neck is the part to watch: on the longneck it is about 9 mm across when the bottle is 100 mm tall, which is fine for vinyl and card and strong enough in 3 mm wood. Below about 60 mm tall, use the silhouette, which has no label or neck bands to weed.

Every label here is a plain window with nothing in it: an oval on the longneck, a rectangle on the stubby and the swing-top, a circle on the growler. The glass left either side of a label is about 3.5 mm wide, so weed the window gently and do not stretch the vinyl. Put your own name, date or drawing in the space, or back it with a pale colour.

For home bars and gifts

The crossed bottles and the bottle cap make good badges for a bar sign or a set of coasters. The six pack and the bucket on ice are wider designs that suit a cooler lid or a party invitation. The bottle opener is drawn as a flat bar, the shape of the opener itself, so it also works as a cutting outline for a wooden or acrylic blank.

How to open the files

  • Cricut Design Space: choose Upload, pick the SVG, and add it to the canvas. Set the width you want; the shape is already welded.
  • Silhouette Studio: Designer Edition and above open the SVG. The free Basic Edition does not, so open the DXF instead.
  • LightBurn, xTool Creative Space and Glowforge: import the SVG, then set the layer to cut, score or engrave.
  • Inkscape, Illustrator and Affinity: open the SVG. It is a plain filled path, so you can recolour it, add a stroke or combine it with your own work.
  • Printing or sublimation: use the PNG, which has a transparent background.

Each design page lists the file’s narrowest part at seven sizes, so you can tell whether it will survive at the size you plan to cut.

Questions

Can I put my own wording on the label?

Yes, that is what the blank labels are for. Type your text in your cutting software, size it to fit inside the window and cut it in a second colour. On the growler the round label is about 35 mm across at the file size, the largest in the set.

Is there a bottle with no label at all?

The beer bottle silhouette is one solid shape with a cap and nothing cut from it. Use it where you want a plain bottle, or for small decals where a label window would be too fine to weed.

Which design suits a gift for a new dad?

The beer bottle and baby bottle. It is one piece, about 58 mm wide when 100 mm tall, and reads clearly on a shirt, a mug or a card. Cut it in one colour, or cut the two bottles from different vinyls and trim along the slim gap between them.
