Ordered dithering

Bayer 16×16 dithering

A 16×16 threshold matrix with 257 tones. The grid is fine enough to fade on a large print, but it is still a grid.

Good for large prints with a retro texture.

How it decides

The same nested construction as Bayer 8×8, one level deeper, repeating every 16 pixels.

All algorithms

Every one is an option in the Dither style: dither an image online and export a 1-bit PNG for a laser or SVG dots for a plotter.
