Will it cut at your size?

Scaling a design scales its thinnest part too. Here is this one at seven sizes, from 1 to 12 inches on its longer side, with how many copies fit a 12 × 12 inch sheet or mat.

Size, width × height	Narrowest part	Cut length	Fit on a 12 in sheet	Rule of thumb
1 × 0.21 in (25 × 5 mm)	0.28 mm	152 mm	290	Too fine for most machines
2 × 0.42 in (51 × 11 mm)	0.56 mm	304 mm	95	Fine detail: vinyl and paper only, weed with care
3 × 0.63 in (76 × 16 mm)	0.84 mm	456 mm	42	Fine detail: vinyl and paper only, weed with care
4 × 0.84 in (102 × 21 mm)	1.1 mm	608 mm	22	Vinyl, card and thin sheet
6 × 1.26 in (152 × 32 mm)	1.7 mm	911 mm	8	Vinyl, card and thin sheet
8 × 1.68 in (203 × 43 mm)	2.2 mm	1,215 mm	6	Vinyl, card and thin sheet
12 × 2.52 in (305 × 64 mm)	3.4 mm	1,823 mm	4	Any material, including 3 mm wood and acrylic

The narrowest part is the thinnest neck that holds the design together; sharp tips are not counted. For wood and acrylic, keep it at least as wide as the sheet is thick. How to open the file in Cricut, Silhouette and laser software.
