Scarecrow silhouette with two crows SVG
The scarecrow as a solid shape with a crow perched on each arm, one looking each way, on a mound of earth. No inside cuts at all, so it weeds in seconds and suits a window or a lantern.

Will it cut at your size?
Scaling a design scales its thinnest part too. Here is this one at seven sizes, from 1 to 12 inches on its longer side, with how many copies fit a 12 × 12 inch sheet or mat.
| Size, width × height | Narrowest part | Cut length | Fit on a 12 in sheet | Rule of thumb |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 0.97 × 1 in (25 × 25 mm) | 0.43 mm | 202 mm | 100 | Too fine for most machines |
| 1.94 × 2 in (49 × 51 mm) | 0.86 mm | 403 mm | 25 | Fine detail: vinyl and paper only, weed with care |
| 2.91 × 3 in (74 × 76 mm) | 1.3 mm | 605 mm | 9 | Vinyl, card and thin sheet |
| 3.88 × 4 in (99 × 102 mm) | 1.7 mm | 807 mm | 4 | Vinyl, card and thin sheet |
| 5.83 × 6 in (148 × 152 mm) | 2.6 mm | 1,210 mm | 2 | Vinyl, card and thin sheet |
| 7.77 × 8 in (197 × 203 mm) | 3.5 mm | 1,613 mm | 1 | Any material, including 3 mm wood and acrylic |
| 11.65 × 12 in (296 × 305 mm) | 5.2 mm | 2,420 mm | 1 | Any material, including 3 mm wood and acrylic |
The narrowest part is the thinnest neck that holds the design together; sharp tips are not counted. For wood and acrylic, keep it at least as wide as the sheet is thick. How to open the file in Cricut, Silhouette and laser software.
