A straight band with runs of blood hanging from it, short and long, each ending in a round bead, and a slim highlight cut into the longest. The top edge is level, to line up with a window frame, a shelf or the rim of a cup.

Will it cut at your size?
Scaling a design scales its thinnest part too. Here is this one at seven sizes, from 1 to 12 inches on its longer side, with how many copies fit a 12 × 12 inch sheet or mat.
| Size, width × height | Narrowest part | Cut length | Fit on a 12 in sheet | Rule of thumb |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 × 0.43 in (25 × 11 mm) | 0.64 mm | 127 mm | 190 | Fine detail: vinyl and paper only, weed with care |
| 2 × 0.87 in (51 × 22 mm) | 1.3 mm | 254 mm | 55 | Vinyl, card and thin sheet |
| 3 × 1.3 in (76 × 33 mm) | 1.9 mm | 381 mm | 24 | Vinyl, card and thin sheet |
| 4 × 1.74 in (102 × 44 mm) | 2.5 mm | 508 mm | 12 | Vinyl, card and thin sheet |
| 6 × 2.6 in (152 × 66 mm) | 3.8 mm | 762 mm | 4 | Any material, including 3 mm wood and acrylic |
| 8 × 3.47 in (203 × 88 mm) | 5.1 mm | 1,016 mm | 3 | Any material, including 3 mm wood and acrylic |
| 12 × 5.21 in (305 × 132 mm) | 7.6 mm | 1,524 mm | 2 | Any material, including 3 mm wood and acrylic |
The narrowest part is the thinnest neck that holds the design together; sharp tips are not counted. For wood and acrylic, keep it at least as wide as the sheet is thick. How to open the file in Cricut, Silhouette and laser software.
