Superhero standing with a cape SVG
A hero from the front as a plain silhouette: feet apart, fists on hips, shoulders square and a ragged cape blowing out to one side. No emblem, no face and no costume detail, so he is anybody’s hero.

Scaling a design scales its thinnest part too. Here is this one at seven sizes, from 1 to 12 inches on its longer side, with how many copies fit a 12 × 12 inch sheet or mat.
| Size, width × height | Narrowest part | Cut length | Fit on a 12 in sheet | Rule of thumb |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 0.77 × 1 in (20 × 25 mm) | 1.4 mm | 125 mm | 120 | Vinyl, card and thin sheet |
| 1.54 × 2 in (39 × 51 mm) | 2.8 mm | 250 mm | 35 | Vinyl, card and thin sheet |
| 2.31 × 3 in (59 × 76 mm) | 4.3 mm | 375 mm | 12 | Any material, including 3 mm wood and acrylic |
| 3.08 × 4 in (78 × 102 mm) | 5.7 mm | 500 mm | 6 | Any material, including 3 mm wood and acrylic |
| 4.62 × 6 in (117 × 152 mm) | 8.5 mm | 750 mm | 2 | Any material, including 3 mm wood and acrylic |
| 6.16 × 8 in (156 × 203 mm) | 11 mm | 1,000 mm | 1 | Any material, including 3 mm wood and acrylic |
| 9.24 × 12 in (235 × 305 mm) | 17 mm | 1,500 mm | 1 | Any material, including 3 mm wood and acrylic |
The narrowest part is the thinnest neck that holds the design together; sharp tips are not counted. For wood and acrylic, keep it at least as wide as the sheet is thick. How to open the file in Cricut, Silhouette and laser software.
