Pinch hair bow template with fold lines SVG
One waisted piece and a strap. Three short fold lines are cut as slits across the middle: fold the centre one up and the outer two down, and the piece gathers into pleats that the strap hides. Cut 120 mm long, the bow is 120 mm wide and 46 mm tall at its ends. Loose pieces.

Will it cut at your size?
Scaling a design scales its thinnest part too. Here is this one at seven sizes, from 1 to 12 inches on its longer side, with how many copies fit a 12 × 12 inch sheet or mat.
| Size, width × height | Narrowest part | Cut length | Fit on a 12 in sheet | Rule of thumb |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 × 0.48 in (25 × 12 mm) | 1.5 mm | 100 mm | 180 | Vinyl, card and thin sheet |
| 2 × 0.96 in (51 × 24 mm) | 3 mm | 201 mm | 50 | Any material, including 3 mm wood and acrylic |
| 3 × 1.43 in (76 × 36 mm) | 4.6 mm | 301 mm | 21 | Any material, including 3 mm wood and acrylic |
| 4 × 1.91 in (102 × 49 mm) | 6.1 mm | 401 mm | 10 | Any material, including 3 mm wood and acrylic |
| 6 × 2.87 in (152 × 73 mm) | 9.1 mm | 602 mm | 3 | Any material, including 3 mm wood and acrylic |
| 8 × 3.82 in (203 × 97 mm) | 12 mm | 803 mm | 3 | Any material, including 3 mm wood and acrylic |
| 12 × 5.74 in (305 × 146 mm) | 18 mm | 1,204 mm | 2 | Any material, including 3 mm wood and acrylic |
The narrowest part is the thinnest neck that holds the design together; sharp tips are not counted. For wood and acrylic, keep it at least as wide as the sheet is thick. How to open the file in Cricut, Silhouette and laser software.
