Hair bow template made up in three colours SVG
What the classic template makes, seen from the front before the middle is pinched: the folded loop piece, the notched tails behind it and the strap. Each layer is one piece, so it also cuts as a flat bow for a card or a scrapbook page.

Will it cut at your size?
Scaling a design scales its thinnest part too. Here is this one at seven sizes, from 1 to 12 inches on its longer side, with how many copies fit a 12 × 12 inch sheet or mat.
| Size, width × height | Narrowest part | Cut length | Fit on a 12 in sheet | Rule of thumb |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 × 0.5 in (25 × 13 mm) | Over 1.5 mm | 136 mm | 170 | Vinyl, card and thin sheet |
| 2 × 1 in (51 × 25 mm) | Over 3 mm | 273 mm | 50 | Any material, including 3 mm wood and acrylic |
| 3 × 1.5 in (76 × 38 mm) | Over 4.6 mm | 409 mm | 21 | Any material, including 3 mm wood and acrylic |
| 4 × 2 in (102 × 51 mm) | Over 6.1 mm | 546 mm | 10 | Any material, including 3 mm wood and acrylic |
| 6 × 3.01 in (152 × 76 mm) | Over 9.1 mm | 818 mm | 3 | Any material, including 3 mm wood and acrylic |
| 8 × 4.01 in (203 × 102 mm) | Over 12 mm | 1,091 mm | 2 | Any material, including 3 mm wood and acrylic |
| 12 × 6.01 in (305 × 153 mm) | Over 18 mm | 1,637 mm | 1 | Any material, including 3 mm wood and acrylic |
The narrowest part is the thinnest neck that holds the design together; sharp tips are not counted. For wood and acrylic, keep it at least as wide as the sheet is thick. How to open the file in Cricut, Silhouette and laser software.
