Will it cut at your size?

Scaling a design scales its thinnest part too. Here is this one at seven sizes, from 1 to 12 inches on its longer side, with how many copies fit a 12 × 12 inch sheet or mat.

Size, width × height	Narrowest part	Cut length	Fit on a 12 in sheet	Rule of thumb
0.68 × 1 in (17 × 25 mm)	0.66 mm	165 mm	130	Fine detail: vinyl and paper only, weed with care
1.36 × 2 in (35 × 51 mm)	1.3 mm	330 mm	35	Vinyl, card and thin sheet
2.04 × 3 in (52 × 76 mm)	2 mm	495 mm	15	Vinyl, card and thin sheet
2.72 × 4 in (69 × 102 mm)	2.6 mm	660 mm	8	Vinyl, card and thin sheet
4.09 × 6 in (104 × 152 mm)	4 mm	991 mm	2	Any material, including 3 mm wood and acrylic
5.45 × 8 in (138 × 203 mm)	5.3 mm	1,321 mm	2	Any material, including 3 mm wood and acrylic
8.17 × 12 in (208 × 305 mm)	7.9 mm	1,981 mm	1	Any material, including 3 mm wood and acrylic

The narrowest part is the thinnest neck that holds the design together; sharp tips are not counted. For wood and acrylic, keep it at least as wide as the sheet is thick. How to open the file in Cricut, Silhouette and laser software.
