Swan on a lake with reeds SVG

Swan on a lake with reeds, as a solid black shape — Swan on a lake with reeds. The preview is the SVG file itself.

A swan gliding past cattails inside a round frame, with the lake filling the foot of the circle and two ripples cut into it. The sky is open, so it shows whatever lies behind.

Scaling a design scales its thinnest part too. Here is this one at seven sizes, from 1 to 12 inches on its longer side, with how many copies fit a 12 × 12 inch sheet or mat.

Size, width × height	Narrowest part	Cut length	Fit on a 12 in sheet	Rule of thumb
1 × 1 in (25 × 25 mm)	0.36 mm	347 mm	100	Too fine for most machines
2 × 2 in (51 × 51 mm)	0.71 mm	694 mm	25	Fine detail: vinyl and paper only, weed with care
3 × 3 in (76 × 76 mm)	1.1 mm	1,041 mm	9	Vinyl, card and thin sheet
4 × 4 in (102 × 102 mm)	1.4 mm	1,388 mm	4	Vinyl, card and thin sheet
6 × 6 in (152 × 152 mm)	2.1 mm	2,082 mm	1	Vinyl, card and thin sheet
8 × 8 in (203 × 203 mm)	2.8 mm	2,776 mm	1	Vinyl, card and thin sheet
12 × 12 in (305 × 305 mm)	4.3 mm	4,164 mm	1	Any material, including 3 mm wood and acrylic

The narrowest part is the thinnest neck that holds the design together; sharp tips are not counted. For wood and acrylic, keep it at least as wide as the sheet is thick. How to open the file in Cricut, Silhouette and laser software.
