Will it cut at your size?

Scaling a design scales its thinnest part too. Here is this one at seven sizes, from 1 to 12 inches on its longer side, with how many copies fit a 12 × 12 inch sheet or mat.

Size, width × height	Narrowest part	Cut length	Fit on a 12 in sheet	Rule of thumb
0.95 × 1 in (24 × 25 mm)	0.43 mm	211 mm	100	Too fine for most machines
1.89 × 2 in (48 × 51 mm)	0.86 mm	422 mm	25	Fine detail: vinyl and paper only, weed with care
2.84 × 3 in (72 × 76 mm)	1.3 mm	633 mm	12	Vinyl, card and thin sheet
3.79 × 4 in (96 × 102 mm)	1.7 mm	844 mm	6	Vinyl, card and thin sheet
5.68 × 6 in (144 × 152 mm)	2.6 mm	1,266 mm	2	Vinyl, card and thin sheet
7.58 × 8 in (192 × 203 mm)	3.5 mm	1,689 mm	1	Any material, including 3 mm wood and acrylic
11.36 × 12 in (289 × 305 mm)	5.2 mm	2,533 mm	1	Any material, including 3 mm wood and acrylic

The narrowest part is the thinnest neck that holds the design together; sharp tips are not counted. For wood and acrylic, keep it at least as wide as the sheet is thick. How to open the file in Cricut, Silhouette and laser software.
