Paper flower seen from above in five colours SVG
What the anemone template makes, drawn from above with each ring shortened as it is when the petals stand up: three leaves, five outer petals, five inner ones over the gaps, a fringe of stamens and the centre. It also cuts as a flat layered flower for a card front.

Will it cut at your size?
Scaling a design scales its thinnest part too. Here is this one at seven sizes, from 1 to 12 inches on its longer side, with how many copies fit a 12 × 12 inch sheet or mat.
| Size, width × height | Narrowest part | Cut length | Fit on a 12 in sheet | Rule of thumb |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 0.93 × 1 in (24 × 25 mm) | 1.1 mm | 243 mm | 100 | Vinyl, card and thin sheet |
| 1.85 × 2 in (47 × 51 mm) | 2.1 mm | 486 mm | 25 | Vinyl, card and thin sheet |
| 2.78 × 3 in (71 × 76 mm) | 3.2 mm | 729 mm | 12 | Any material, including 3 mm wood and acrylic |
| 3.71 × 4 in (94 × 102 mm) | 4.3 mm | 972 mm | 6 | Any material, including 3 mm wood and acrylic |
| 5.56 × 6 in (141 × 152 mm) | 6.4 mm | 1,458 mm | 2 | Any material, including 3 mm wood and acrylic |
| 7.42 × 8 in (188 × 203 mm) | 8.5 mm | 1,945 mm | 1 | Any material, including 3 mm wood and acrylic |
| 11.12 × 12 in (283 × 305 mm) | 13 mm | 2,917 mm | 1 | Any material, including 3 mm wood and acrylic |
The narrowest part is the thinnest neck that holds the design together; sharp tips are not counted. For wood and acrylic, keep it at least as wide as the sheet is thick. How to open the file in Cricut, Silhouette and laser software.
