Hello outline lettering SVG

Hello outline lettering, drawn as a line — Hello outline lettering. The preview is the SVG file itself.

“Hello” as hollow letters in a chunky rounded face: each letter is drawn as a line round its own edge, with a second loop round any counter. For colouring pages, foil and pen work, or layered over the solid version in a second colour.

Scaling a design scales its thinnest part too. Here is this one at seven sizes, from 1 to 12 inches on its longer side, with how many copies fit a 12 × 12 inch sheet or mat.

Size, width × height	Narrowest part	Cut length	Fit on a 12 in sheet	Rule of thumb
1 × 0.31 in (25 × 8 mm)	0.36 mm	241 mm	230	Too fine for most machines
2 × 0.63 in (51 × 16 mm)	0.71 mm	481 mm	70	Fine detail: vinyl and paper only, weed with care
3 × 0.94 in (76 × 24 mm)	1.1 mm	722 mm	30	Vinyl, card and thin sheet
4 × 1.26 in (102 × 32 mm)	1.4 mm	962 mm	16	Vinyl, card and thin sheet
6 × 1.88 in (152 × 48 mm)	2.1 mm	1,443 mm	5	Vinyl, card and thin sheet
8 × 2.51 in (203 × 64 mm)	2.8 mm	1,924 mm	4	Vinyl, card and thin sheet
12 × 3.77 in (305 × 96 mm)	4.3 mm	2,886 mm	3	Any material, including 3 mm wood and acrylic

The narrowest part is the thinnest neck that holds the design together; sharp tips are not counted. For wood and acrylic, keep it at least as wide as the sheet is thick. How to open the file in Cricut, Silhouette and laser software.
