Will it cut at your size?

Scaling a design scales its thinnest part too. Here is this one at seven sizes, from 1 to 12 inches on its longer side, with how many copies fit a 12 × 12 inch sheet or mat.

Size, width × height	Narrowest part	Cut length	Fit on a 12 in sheet	Rule of thumb
1 × 0.41 in (25 × 10 mm)	0.46 mm	117 mm	190	Too fine for most machines
2 × 0.83 in (51 × 21 mm)	0.91 mm	235 mm	55	Fine detail: vinyl and paper only, weed with care
3 × 1.24 in (76 × 31 mm)	1.4 mm	352 mm	24	Vinyl, card and thin sheet
4 × 1.65 in (102 × 42 mm)	1.8 mm	469 mm	12	Vinyl, card and thin sheet
6 × 2.48 in (152 × 63 mm)	2.7 mm	704 mm	4	Vinyl, card and thin sheet
8 × 3.3 in (203 × 84 mm)	3.7 mm	939 mm	3	Any material, including 3 mm wood and acrylic
12 × 4.96 in (305 × 126 mm)	5.5 mm	1,408 mm	2	Any material, including 3 mm wood and acrylic

The narrowest part is the thinnest neck that holds the design together; sharp tips are not counted. For wood and acrylic, keep it at least as wide as the sheet is thick. How to open the file in Cricut, Silhouette and laser software.
