Circus tent big top SVG
A big top with a striped roof and walls, a scalloped edge under the eaves, a parted curtain for a door and a flag on the centre pole. The stripes are openings, so a second colour laid behind shows through.

Scaling a design scales its thinnest part too. Here is this one at seven sizes, from 1 to 12 inches on its longer side, with how many copies fit a 12 × 12 inch sheet or mat.
| Size, width × height | Narrowest part | Cut length | Fit on a 12 in sheet | Rule of thumb |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 × 0.84 in (25 × 21 mm) | 0.81 mm | 197 mm | 110 | Fine detail: vinyl and paper only, weed with care |
| 2 × 1.68 in (51 × 43 mm) | 1.6 mm | 394 mm | 30 | Vinyl, card and thin sheet |
| 3 × 2.52 in (76 × 64 mm) | 2.4 mm | 591 mm | 12 | Vinyl, card and thin sheet |
| 4 × 3.36 in (102 × 85 mm) | 3.3 mm | 788 mm | 6 | Any material, including 3 mm wood and acrylic |
| 6 × 5.04 in (152 × 128 mm) | 4.9 mm | 1,183 mm | 2 | Any material, including 3 mm wood and acrylic |
| 8 × 6.72 in (203 × 171 mm) | 6.5 mm | 1,577 mm | 1 | Any material, including 3 mm wood and acrylic |
| 12 × 10.08 in (305 × 256 mm) | 9.8 mm | 2,365 mm | 1 | Any material, including 3 mm wood and acrylic |
The narrowest part is the thinnest neck that holds the design together; sharp tips are not counted. For wood and acrylic, keep it at least as wide as the sheet is thick. How to open the file in Cricut, Silhouette and laser software.
