A clock that no longer tells anyone the time: a dial with twelve marks, a fine line inside the rim, standing on two feet on a shelf. Where the hands were there is only an empty hole. One piece with a flat base, the same on both sides.

Will it cut at your size?
Scaling a design scales its thinnest part too. Here is this one at seven sizes, from 1 to 12 inches on its longer side, with how many copies fit a 12 × 12 inch sheet or mat.
| Size, width × height | Narrowest part | Cut length | Fit on a 12 in sheet | Rule of thumb |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 × 0.97 in (25 × 25 mm) | 0.79 mm | 312 mm | 100 | Fine detail: vinyl and paper only, weed with care |
| 2 × 1.94 in (51 × 49 mm) | 1.6 mm | 623 mm | 25 | Vinyl, card and thin sheet |
| 3 × 2.91 in (76 × 74 mm) | 2.4 mm | 935 mm | 9 | Vinyl, card and thin sheet |
| 4 × 3.88 in (102 × 99 mm) | 3.1 mm | 1,247 mm | 4 | Any material, including 3 mm wood and acrylic |
| 6 × 5.82 in (152 × 148 mm) | 4.7 mm | 1,870 mm | 2 | Any material, including 3 mm wood and acrylic |
| 8 × 7.76 in (203 × 197 mm) | 6.3 mm | 2,493 mm | 1 | Any material, including 3 mm wood and acrylic |
| 12 × 11.64 in (305 × 296 mm) | 9.4 mm | 3,740 mm | 1 | Any material, including 3 mm wood and acrylic |
The narrowest part is the thinnest neck that holds the design together; sharp tips are not counted. For wood and acrylic, keep it at least as wide as the sheet is thick. How to open the file in Cricut, Silhouette and laser software.
