North Pole outline lettering SVG

North Pole outline lettering, drawn as a line — North Pole outline lettering. The preview is the SVG file itself.

“North Pole” as hollow letters in a chunky rounded face: each letter is drawn as a line round its own edge, with a second loop round any counter. For colouring pages, foil and pen work, or layered over the solid version in a second colour.

Will it cut at your size?

Scaling a design scales its thinnest part too. Here is this one at seven sizes, from 1 to 12 inches on its longer side, with how many copies fit a 12 × 12 inch sheet or mat.

Size, width × height	Narrowest part	Cut length	Fit on a 12 in sheet	Rule of thumb
1 × 0.74 in (25 × 19 mm)	0.36 mm	402 mm	130	Too fine for most machines
2 × 1.48 in (51 × 37 mm)	0.71 mm	804 mm	35	Fine detail: vinyl and paper only, weed with care
3 × 2.21 in (76 × 56 mm)	1.1 mm	1,205 mm	15	Vinyl, card and thin sheet
4 × 2.95 in (102 × 75 mm)	1.4 mm	1,607 mm	6	Vinyl, card and thin sheet
6 × 4.43 in (152 × 112 mm)	2.1 mm	2,411 mm	2	Vinyl, card and thin sheet
8 × 5.9 in (203 × 150 mm)	2.8 mm	3,215 mm	1	Vinyl, card and thin sheet
12 × 8.86 in (305 × 225 mm)	4.3 mm	4,822 mm	1	Any material, including 3 mm wood and acrylic

The narrowest part is the thinnest neck that holds the design together; sharp tips are not counted. For wood and acrylic, keep it at least as wide as the sheet is thick. How to open the file in Cricut, Silhouette and laser software.
