Magnolia bud on a twig SVG

Magnolia bud on a twig, as a solid black shape — Magnolia bud on a twig. The preview is the SVG file itself.

A flower bud just splitting its furry scales, at the end of a bare forked twig with three small leaf buds. For early spring cards, and to set beside the open flowers.

Will it cut at your size?

Scaling a design scales its thinnest part too. Here is this one at seven sizes, from 1 to 12 inches on its longer side, with how many copies fit a 12 × 12 inch sheet or mat.

Size, width × height	Narrowest part	Cut length	Fit on a 12 in sheet	Rule of thumb
0.62 × 1 in (16 × 25 mm)	0.48 mm	133 mm	140	Too fine for most machines
1.24 × 2 in (31 × 51 mm)	0.97 mm	265 mm	40	Fine detail: vinyl and paper only, weed with care
1.85 × 3 in (47 × 76 mm)	1.4 mm	398 mm	15	Vinyl, card and thin sheet
2.47 × 4 in (63 × 102 mm)	1.9 mm	530 mm	8	Vinyl, card and thin sheet
3.71 × 6 in (94 × 152 mm)	2.9 mm	796 mm	3	Vinyl, card and thin sheet
4.94 × 8 in (126 × 203 mm)	3.9 mm	1,061 mm	2	Any material, including 3 mm wood and acrylic
7.42 × 12 in (188 × 305 mm)	5.8 mm	1,591 mm	1	Any material, including 3 mm wood and acrylic

The narrowest part is the thinnest neck that holds the design together; sharp tips are not counted. For wood and acrylic, keep it at least as wide as the sheet is thick. How to open the file in Cricut, Silhouette and laser software.
