Jesus in Lobster, as a solid black shape — Jesus in Lobster. The preview is the SVG file itself.

“Jesus” set in Lobster, a bold upright script. Upright and heavy, it stays readable from across a room and weeds easily.

Scaling a design scales its thinnest part too. Here is this one at seven sizes, from 1 to 12 inches on its longer side, with how many copies fit a 12 × 12 inch sheet or mat.

Size, width × height	Narrowest part	Cut length	Fit on a 12 in sheet	Rule of thumb
1 × 0.43 in (25 × 11 mm)	0.43 mm	158 mm	190	Too fine for most machines
2 × 0.86 in (51 × 22 mm)	0.86 mm	316 mm	55	Fine detail: vinyl and paper only, weed with care
3 × 1.3 in (76 × 33 mm)	1.3 mm	474 mm	24	Vinyl, card and thin sheet
4 × 1.73 in (102 × 44 mm)	1.7 mm	632 mm	12	Vinyl, card and thin sheet
6 × 2.59 in (152 × 66 mm)	2.6 mm	948 mm	4	Vinyl, card and thin sheet
8 × 3.46 in (203 × 88 mm)	3.5 mm	1,264 mm	3	Any material, including 3 mm wood and acrylic
12 × 5.18 in (305 × 132 mm)	5.2 mm	1,896 mm	2	Any material, including 3 mm wood and acrylic

The narrowest part is the thinnest neck that holds the design together; sharp tips are not counted. For wood and acrylic, keep it at least as wide as the sheet is thick. How to open the file in Cricut, Silhouette and laser software.
