Will it cut at your size?

Scaling a design scales its thinnest part too. Here is this one at seven sizes, from 1 to 12 inches on its longer side, with how many copies fit a 12 × 12 inch sheet or mat.

Size, width × height	Narrowest part	Cut length	Fit on a 12 in sheet	Rule of thumb
0.81 × 1 in (21 × 25 mm)	0.36 mm	441 mm	120	Too fine for most machines
1.62 × 2 in (41 × 51 mm)	0.71 mm	882 mm	30	Fine detail: vinyl and paper only, weed with care
2.44 × 3 in (62 × 76 mm)	1.1 mm	1,324 mm	12	Vinyl, card and thin sheet
3.25 × 4 in (82 × 102 mm)	1.4 mm	1,765 mm	6	Vinyl, card and thin sheet
4.87 × 6 in (124 × 152 mm)	2.1 mm	2,647 mm	2	Vinyl, card and thin sheet
6.5 × 8 in (165 × 203 mm)	2.8 mm	3,530 mm	1	Vinyl, card and thin sheet
9.74 × 12 in (247 × 305 mm)	4.3 mm	5,294 mm	1	Any material, including 3 mm wood and acrylic

The narrowest part is the thinnest neck or wall beside a cut-out; sharp tips are not counted. For wood and acrylic, keep it at least as wide as the sheet is thick. How to open the file in Cricut, Silhouette and laser software.
