Will it cut at your size?

Scaling a design scales its thinnest part too. Here is this one at seven sizes, from 1 to 12 inches on its longer side, with how many copies fit a 12 × 12 inch sheet or mat.

Size, width × height	Narrowest part	Cut length	Fit on a 12 in sheet	Rule of thumb
1 × 0.56 in (25 × 14 mm)	0.25 mm	194 mm	160	Too fine for most machines
2 × 1.11 in (51 × 28 mm)	0.51 mm	388 mm	45	Fine detail: vinyl and paper only, weed with care
3 × 1.67 in (76 × 42 mm)	0.76 mm	582 mm	18	Fine detail: vinyl and paper only, weed with care
4 × 2.23 in (102 × 57 mm)	1 mm	776 mm	10	Vinyl, card and thin sheet
6 × 3.34 in (152 × 85 mm)	1.5 mm	1,164 mm	3	Vinyl, card and thin sheet
8 × 4.46 in (203 × 113 mm)	2 mm	1,552 mm	2	Vinyl, card and thin sheet
12 × 6.68 in (305 × 170 mm)	3 mm	2,329 mm	1	Any material, including 3 mm wood and acrylic

The narrowest part is the thinnest neck that holds the design together; sharp tips are not counted. For wood and acrylic, keep it at least as wide as the sheet is thick. How to open the file in Cricut, Silhouette and laser software.
