Striped candy cane SVG

Striped candy cane, as a solid black shape — Striped candy cane. The preview is the SVG file itself.

A cane with slanted stripes that turn with the hook. A thin rail runs down each edge and joins the stripes, so the whole cane lifts as one piece.

Scaling a design scales its thinnest part too. Here is this one at seven sizes, from 1 to 12 inches on its longer side, with how many copies fit a 12 × 12 inch sheet or mat.

Size, width × height	Narrowest part	Cut length	Fit on a 12 in sheet	Rule of thumb
0.45 × 1 in (11 × 25 mm)	0.51 mm	159 mm	180	Fine detail: vinyl and paper only, weed with care
0.89 × 2 in (23 × 51 mm)	1 mm	319 mm	55	Vinyl, card and thin sheet
1.34 × 3 in (34 × 76 mm)	1.5 mm	478 mm	21	Vinyl, card and thin sheet
1.78 × 4 in (45 × 102 mm)	2 mm	637 mm	12	Vinyl, card and thin sheet
2.68 × 6 in (68 × 152 mm)	3 mm	956 mm	4	Any material, including 3 mm wood and acrylic
3.57 × 8 in (91 × 203 mm)	4.1 mm	1,274 mm	3	Any material, including 3 mm wood and acrylic
5.35 × 12 in (136 × 305 mm)	6.1 mm	1,911 mm	2	Any material, including 3 mm wood and acrylic

The narrowest part is the thinnest neck that holds the design together; sharp tips are not counted. For wood and acrylic, keep it at least as wide as the sheet is thick. How to open the file in Cricut, Silhouette and laser software.
