Crossed striped candy canes SVG

Crossed striped candy canes, as a solid black shape — Crossed striped candy canes. The preview is the SVG file itself.

Two striped canes crossed in an X. One lies in front and the other is trimmed where it passes behind, so the stripes never tangle and it is still one piece.

Scaling a design scales its thinnest part too. Here is this one at seven sizes, from 1 to 12 inches on its longer side, with how many copies fit a 12 × 12 inch sheet or mat.

Size, width × height	Narrowest part	Cut length	Fit on a 12 in sheet	Rule of thumb
1 × 0.84 in (25 × 21 mm)	0.48 mm	274 mm	110	Too fine for most machines
2 × 1.68 in (51 × 43 mm)	0.97 mm	547 mm	30	Fine detail: vinyl and paper only, weed with care
3 × 2.52 in (76 × 64 mm)	1.4 mm	821 mm	12	Vinyl, card and thin sheet
4 × 3.36 in (102 × 85 mm)	1.9 mm	1,094 mm	6	Vinyl, card and thin sheet
6 × 5.03 in (152 × 128 mm)	2.9 mm	1,641 mm	2	Vinyl, card and thin sheet
8 × 6.71 in (203 × 170 mm)	3.9 mm	2,188 mm	1	Any material, including 3 mm wood and acrylic
12 × 10.07 in (305 × 256 mm)	5.8 mm	3,283 mm	1	Any material, including 3 mm wood and acrylic

The narrowest part is the thinnest neck that holds the design together; sharp tips are not counted. For wood and acrylic, keep it at least as wide as the sheet is thick. How to open the file in Cricut, Silhouette and laser software.
