Will it cut at your size?

Scaling a design scales its thinnest part too. Here is this one at seven sizes, from 1 to 12 inches on its longer side, with how many copies fit a 12 × 12 inch sheet or mat.

Size, width × height	Narrowest part	Cut length	Fit on a 12 in sheet	Rule of thumb
1 × 0.36 in (25 × 9 mm)	0.46 mm	223 mm	210	Too fine for most machines
2 × 0.72 in (51 × 18 mm)	0.91 mm	447 mm	65	Fine detail: vinyl and paper only, weed with care
3 × 1.08 in (76 × 27 mm)	1.4 mm	670 mm	27	Vinyl, card and thin sheet
4 × 1.44 in (102 × 37 mm)	1.8 mm	893 mm	14	Vinyl, card and thin sheet
6 × 2.16 in (152 × 55 mm)	2.7 mm	1,340 mm	5	Vinyl, card and thin sheet
8 × 2.88 in (203 × 73 mm)	3.7 mm	1,786 mm	3	Any material, including 3 mm wood and acrylic
12 × 4.32 in (305 × 110 mm)	5.5 mm	2,679 mm	2	Any material, including 3 mm wood and acrylic

The narrowest part is the thinnest neck that holds the design together; sharp tips are not counted. For wood and acrylic, keep it at least as wide as the sheet is thick. How to open the file in Cricut, Silhouette and laser software.
