Will it cut at your size?

Scaling a design scales its thinnest part too. Here is this one at seven sizes, from 1 to 12 inches on its longer side, with how many copies fit a 12 × 12 inch sheet or mat.

Size, width × height	Narrowest part	Cut length	Fit on a 12 in sheet	Rule of thumb
1 × 0.52 in (25 × 13 mm)	0.38 mm	176 mm	160	Too fine for most machines
2 × 1.05 in (51 × 27 mm)	0.76 mm	351 mm	45	Fine detail: vinyl and paper only, weed with care
3 × 1.57 in (76 × 40 mm)	1.1 mm	527 mm	18	Vinyl, card and thin sheet
4 × 2.1 in (102 × 53 mm)	1.5 mm	702 mm	10	Vinyl, card and thin sheet
6 × 3.14 in (152 × 80 mm)	2.3 mm	1,053 mm	3	Vinyl, card and thin sheet
8 × 4.19 in (203 × 106 mm)	3 mm	1,404 mm	2	Any material, including 3 mm wood and acrylic
12 × 6.29 in (305 × 160 mm)	4.6 mm	2,106 mm	1	Any material, including 3 mm wood and acrylic

The narrowest part is the thinnest neck that holds the design together; sharp tips are not counted. For wood and acrylic, keep it at least as wide as the sheet is thick. How to open the file in Cricut, Silhouette and laser software.
