A strip that marks today: slits run from its six holes to the edge so it snaps on and off the rings, a tab stands above the page, and the outer edge is notched every centimetre. Cut it 224 mm tall from thin plastic or stiff card.

Will it cut at your size?
Scaling a design scales its thinnest part too. Here is this one at seven sizes, from 1 to 12 inches on its longer side, with how many copies fit a 12 × 12 inch sheet or mat.
