Hilbert curve fractal, order 5, with round corners, drawn as a line
Hilbert curve fractal, order 5, with round corners. The preview is the SVG file itself.

The fifth order of the Hilbert curve: 1,023 steps through a 32 by 32 grid, with every corner cut and rounded so the line flows. It still starts in one corner of the square and ends in the next corner along.

How fine is it at your size?

Scaling a design scales its finest detail too. Here is this one at seven sizes, from 1 to 12 inches on its longer side, with how many copies fit a 12 × 12 inch sheet or mat.

The narrowest part is the finest detail in the pattern. Below about half a millimetre it is too small to cut and may fill in when printed. How to open the file in Cricut, Silhouette and laser software.
