Peano curve fractal, order 3, drawn as a line
Peano curve fractal, order 3. The preview is the SVG file itself.

The first space-filling curve, published by Peano in 1890: an S through a 3 by 3 grid, each cell then filled by a smaller S. Order 3 runs 728 steps through a 27 by 27 grid from one corner to the opposite one.

How fine is it at your size?

Scaling a design scales its finest detail too. Here is this one at seven sizes, from 1 to 12 inches on its longer side, with how many copies fit a 12 × 12 inch sheet or mat.

The narrowest part is the finest detail in the pattern. Below about half a millimetre it is too small to cut and may fill in when printed. How to open the file in Cricut, Silhouette and laser software.
