“Elf Squad” in Pacifico script in two colours: the words, and a thicker copy behind them shifted down and to the right as a shadow. The shadow layer is one solid piece, which makes the whole design easy to place.

Will it cut at your size?
Scaling a design scales its thinnest part too. Here is this one at seven sizes, from 1 to 12 inches on its longer side, with how many copies fit a 12 × 12 inch sheet or mat.
| Size, width × height | Narrowest part | Cut length | Fit on a 12 in sheet | Rule of thumb |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 0.91 × 1 in (23 × 25 mm) | 1.1 mm | 441 mm | 100 | Vinyl, card and thin sheet |
| 1.82 × 2 in (46 × 51 mm) | 2.2 mm | 881 mm | 30 | Vinyl, card and thin sheet |
| 2.73 × 3 in (69 × 76 mm) | 3.3 mm | 1,322 mm | 12 | Any material, including 3 mm wood and acrylic |
| 3.64 × 4 in (92 × 102 mm) | 4.4 mm | 1,763 mm | 6 | Any material, including 3 mm wood and acrylic |
| 5.46 × 6 in (139 × 152 mm) | 6.6 mm | 2,644 mm | 2 | Any material, including 3 mm wood and acrylic |
| 7.28 × 8 in (185 × 203 mm) | 8.7 mm | 3,526 mm | 1 | Any material, including 3 mm wood and acrylic |
| 10.92 × 12 in (277 × 305 mm) | 13 mm | 5,288 mm | 1 | Any material, including 3 mm wood and acrylic |
The narrowest part is the thinnest neck that holds the design together; sharp tips are not counted. For wood and acrylic, keep it at least as wide as the sheet is thick. How to open the file in Cricut, Silhouette and laser software.
