Birch trees, a stand of five trunks, as a solid black shape — Birch trees, a stand of five trunks. The preview is the SVG file itself.

Five trunks of different widths standing in a bank of snow, cut off level at the top like trees in a forest. Each has its own pattern of bark marks, and thin branches link them.

Will it cut at your size?

Scaling a design scales its thinnest part too. Here is this one at seven sizes, from 1 to 12 inches on its longer side, with how many copies fit a 12 × 12 inch sheet or mat.

Size, width × height	Narrowest part	Cut length	Fit on a 12 in sheet	Rule of thumb
1 × 1 in (25 × 25 mm)	0.46 mm	402 mm	100	Too fine for most machines
2 × 1.99 in (51 × 51 mm)	0.91 mm	803 mm	25	Fine detail: vinyl and paper only, weed with care
3 × 2.99 in (76 × 76 mm)	1.4 mm	1,205 mm	9	Vinyl, card and thin sheet
4 × 3.99 in (102 × 101 mm)	1.8 mm	1,606 mm	4	Vinyl, card and thin sheet
6 × 5.98 in (152 × 152 mm)	2.7 mm	2,409 mm	1	Vinyl, card and thin sheet
8 × 7.98 in (203 × 203 mm)	3.7 mm	3,213 mm	1	Any material, including 3 mm wood and acrylic
12 × 11.96 in (305 × 304 mm)	5.5 mm	4,819 mm	1	Any material, including 3 mm wood and acrylic

The narrowest part is the thinnest neck that holds the design together; sharp tips are not counted. For wood and acrylic, keep it at least as wide as the sheet is thick. How to open the file in Cricut, Silhouette and laser software.
