We Decided on Forever in Amatic SC SVG
“We Decided on Forever” set in Amatic SC, narrow hand-drawn capitals, on 2 centred lines. Tall, thin and slightly uneven, like lettering on a chalkboard; the strokes are thickened so they cut.

Will it cut at your size?
Scaling a design scales its thinnest part too. Here is this one at seven sizes, from 1 to 12 inches on its longer side, with how many copies fit a 12 × 12 inch sheet or mat.
| Size, width × height | Narrowest part | Cut length | Fit on a 12 in sheet | Rule of thumb |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 × 0.63 in (25 × 16 mm) | 0.38 mm | 400 mm | 140 | Too fine for most machines |
| 2 × 1.26 in (51 × 32 mm) | 0.76 mm | 801 mm | 40 | Fine detail: vinyl and paper only, weed with care |
| 3 × 1.88 in (76 × 48 mm) | 1.1 mm | 1,201 mm | 15 | Vinyl, card and thin sheet |
| 4 × 2.51 in (102 × 64 mm) | 1.5 mm | 1,601 mm | 8 | Vinyl, card and thin sheet |
| 6 × 3.77 in (152 × 96 mm) | 2.3 mm | 2,402 mm | 3 | Vinyl, card and thin sheet |
| 8 × 5.02 in (203 × 128 mm) | 3 mm | 3,202 mm | 2 | Any material, including 3 mm wood and acrylic |
| 12 × 7.54 in (305 × 191 mm) | 4.6 mm | 4,804 mm | 1 | Any material, including 3 mm wood and acrylic |
The narrowest part is the thinnest neck that holds the design together; sharp tips are not counted. For wood and acrylic, keep it at least as wide as the sheet is thick. How to open the file in Cricut, Silhouette and laser software.
