“She Is Clothed With Strength and Dignity” set in Amatic SC, narrow hand-drawn capitals, on 3 centred lines. Tall, thin and slightly uneven, like lettering on a chalkboard; the strokes are thickened so they cut.

Will it cut at your size?
Scaling a design scales its thinnest part too. Here is this one at seven sizes, from 1 to 12 inches on its longer side, with how many copies fit a 12 × 12 inch sheet or mat.
| Size, width × height | Narrowest part | Cut length | Fit on a 12 in sheet | Rule of thumb |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 × 0.8 in (25 × 20 mm) | 0.2 mm | 578 mm | 120 | Too fine for most machines |
| 2 × 1.6 in (51 × 41 mm) | 0.41 mm | 1,155 mm | 30 | Too fine for most machines |
| 3 × 2.4 in (76 × 61 mm) | 0.61 mm | 1,733 mm | 12 | Fine detail: vinyl and paper only, weed with care |
| 4 × 3.2 in (102 × 81 mm) | 0.81 mm | 2,310 mm | 6 | Fine detail: vinyl and paper only, weed with care |
| 6 × 4.79 in (152 × 122 mm) | 1.2 mm | 3,466 mm | 2 | Vinyl, card and thin sheet |
| 8 × 6.39 in (203 × 162 mm) | 1.6 mm | 4,621 mm | 1 | Vinyl, card and thin sheet |
| 12 × 9.59 in (305 × 244 mm) | 2.4 mm | 6,931 mm | 1 | Vinyl, card and thin sheet |
The narrowest part is the thinnest neck that holds the design together; sharp tips are not counted. For wood and acrylic, keep it at least as wide as the sheet is thick. How to open the file in Cricut, Silhouette and laser software.
