Paper doll chain of four girls SVG
Four girls in dresses and bunches, joined at the hands: the chain a folded strip gives, drawn out whole so a machine cuts it in one pass. The hands overlap, so it is one piece. Cut 280 mm long, each doll is 125 mm tall. Glue two chains together at the end hands for a longer one.

Will it cut at your size?
Scaling a design scales its thinnest part too. Here is this one at seven sizes, from 1 to 12 inches on its longer side, with how many copies fit a 12 × 12 inch sheet or mat.
| Size, width × height | Narrowest part | Cut length | Fit on a 12 in sheet | Rule of thumb |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 × 0.45 in (25 × 11 mm) | 0.79 mm | 197 mm | 180 | Fine detail: vinyl and paper only, weed with care |
| 2 × 0.89 in (51 × 23 mm) | 1.6 mm | 394 mm | 55 | Vinyl, card and thin sheet |
| 3 × 1.34 in (76 × 34 mm) | 2.4 mm | 591 mm | 21 | Vinyl, card and thin sheet |
| 4 × 1.79 in (102 × 45 mm) | 3.1 mm | 787 mm | 12 | Any material, including 3 mm wood and acrylic |
| 6 × 2.68 in (152 × 68 mm) | 4.7 mm | 1,181 mm | 4 | Any material, including 3 mm wood and acrylic |
| 8 × 3.58 in (203 × 91 mm) | 6.3 mm | 1,575 mm | 3 | Any material, including 3 mm wood and acrylic |
| 12 × 5.36 in (305 × 136 mm) | 9.4 mm | 2,362 mm | 2 | Any material, including 3 mm wood and acrylic |
The narrowest part is the thinnest neck that holds the design together; sharp tips are not counted. For wood and acrylic, keep it at least as wide as the sheet is thick. How to open the file in Cricut, Silhouette and laser software.
