Which one? SVG for Cricut and lasers, DXF for the free Silhouette Studio, PNG to print.
Free for personal and commercial use, no sign-up. What you can do with it.
“Mistakes Are” in Pacifico script over “PROOF THAT YOU ARE TRYING” in narrow capitals, the two lines made the same width. Mixing a script with capitals is the classic sign-painter’s pairing.

Will it cut at your size?
Scaling a design scales its thinnest part too. Here is this one at seven sizes, from 1 to 12 inches on its longer side, with how many copies fit a 12 × 12 inch sheet or mat.
| Size, width × height | Narrowest part | Cut length | Fit on a 12 in sheet | Rule of thumb |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 × 0.65 in (25 × 17 mm) | 0.3 mm | 499 mm | 140 | Too fine for most machines |
| 2 × 1.3 in (51 × 33 mm) | 0.61 mm | 999 mm | 40 | Fine detail: vinyl and paper only, weed with care |
| 3 × 1.95 in (76 × 50 mm) | 0.91 mm | 1,498 mm | 15 | Fine detail: vinyl and paper only, weed with care |
| 4 × 2.6 in (102 × 66 mm) | 1.2 mm | 1,997 mm | 8 | Vinyl, card and thin sheet |
| 6 × 3.91 in (152 × 99 mm) | 1.8 mm | 2,996 mm | 2 | Vinyl, card and thin sheet |
| 8 × 5.21 in (203 × 132 mm) | 2.4 mm | 3,995 mm | 2 | Vinyl, card and thin sheet |
| 12 × 7.81 in (305 × 198 mm) | 3.7 mm | 5,992 mm | 1 | Any material, including 3 mm wood and acrylic |
The narrowest part is the thinnest neck that holds the design together; sharp tips are not counted. For wood and acrylic, keep it at least as wide as the sheet is thick. How to open the file in Cricut, Silhouette and laser software.
