Letter V in Cinzel Decorative SVG
The capital V of Cinzel Decorative, Roman capitals with decorative swashes, as one welded shape 100 mm tall. This V has no closed counter, so it also works as a stencil as it is. The hairlines are thickened a little so that they survive cutting.

Scaling a design scales its thinnest part too. Here is this one at seven sizes, from 1 to 12 inches on its longer side, with how many copies fit a 12 × 12 inch sheet or mat.
| Size, width × height | Narrowest part | Cut length | Fit on a 12 in sheet | Rule of thumb |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 × 0.97 in (25 × 25 mm) | Over 1.5 mm | 99 mm | 100 | Vinyl, card and thin sheet |
| 2 × 1.95 in (51 × 49 mm) | Over 3 mm | 198 mm | 25 | Any material, including 3 mm wood and acrylic |
| 3 × 2.92 in (76 × 74 mm) | Over 4.6 mm | 296 mm | 9 | Any material, including 3 mm wood and acrylic |
| 4 × 3.89 in (102 × 99 mm) | Over 6.1 mm | 395 mm | 4 | Any material, including 3 mm wood and acrylic |
| 6 × 5.84 in (152 × 148 mm) | Over 9.1 mm | 593 mm | 2 | Any material, including 3 mm wood and acrylic |
| 8 × 7.78 in (203 × 198 mm) | Over 12 mm | 790 mm | 1 | Any material, including 3 mm wood and acrylic |
| 12 × 11.68 in (305 × 297 mm) | Over 18 mm | 1,186 mm | 1 | Any material, including 3 mm wood and acrylic |
The narrowest part is the thinnest neck that holds the design together; sharp tips are not counted. For wood and acrylic, keep it at least as wide as the sheet is thick. How to open the file in Cricut, Silhouette and laser software.
