“Gather” set in Kaushan Script, a lively brush script. It leans forward with the uneven edge of a loaded brush, which suits informal signs and shirts.

Scaling a design scales its thinnest part too. Here is this one at seven sizes, from 1 to 12 inches on its longer side, with how many copies fit a 12 × 12 inch sheet or mat.

Size, width × height	Narrowest part	Cut length	Fit on a 12 in sheet	Rule of thumb
1 × 0.33 in (25 × 8 mm)	0.33 mm	161 mm	220	Too fine for most machines
2 × 0.67 in (51 × 17 mm)	0.66 mm	321 mm	70	Fine detail: vinyl and paper only, weed with care
3 × 1 in (76 × 25 mm)	0.99 mm	482 mm	30	Fine detail: vinyl and paper only, weed with care
4 × 1.34 in (102 × 34 mm)	1.3 mm	642 mm	14	Vinyl, card and thin sheet
6 × 2 in (152 × 51 mm)	2 mm	963 mm	5	Vinyl, card and thin sheet
8 × 2.67 in (203 × 68 mm)	2.6 mm	1,284 mm	4	Vinyl, card and thin sheet
12 × 4.01 in (305 × 102 mm)	4 mm	1,926 mm	2	Any material, including 3 mm wood and acrylic

The narrowest part is the thinnest neck that holds the design together; sharp tips are not counted. For wood and acrylic, keep it at least as wide as the sheet is thick. How to open the file in Cricut, Silhouette and laser software.
