“Because I Said So” in Pacifico script in two colours: the words, and a thicker copy behind them shifted down and to the right as a shadow. The shadow layer is one solid piece, which makes the whole design easy to place.

Will it cut at your size?
Scaling a design scales its thinnest part too. Here is this one at seven sizes, from 1 to 12 inches on its longer side, with how many copies fit a 12 × 12 inch sheet or mat.
| Size, width × height | Narrowest part | Cut length | Fit on a 12 in sheet | Rule of thumb |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 × 0.61 in (25 × 16 mm) | 0.81 mm | 427 mm | 150 | Fine detail: vinyl and paper only, weed with care |
| 2 × 1.22 in (51 × 31 mm) | 1.6 mm | 854 mm | 40 | Vinyl, card and thin sheet |
| 3 × 1.84 in (76 × 47 mm) | 2.4 mm | 1,281 mm | 15 | Vinyl, card and thin sheet |
| 4 × 2.45 in (102 × 62 mm) | 3.3 mm | 1,708 mm | 8 | Any material, including 3 mm wood and acrylic |
| 6 × 3.67 in (152 × 93 mm) | 4.9 mm | 2,562 mm | 3 | Any material, including 3 mm wood and acrylic |
| 8 × 4.9 in (203 × 124 mm) | 6.5 mm | 3,416 mm | 2 | Any material, including 3 mm wood and acrylic |
| 12 × 7.34 in (305 × 187 mm) | 9.8 mm | 5,124 mm | 1 | Any material, including 3 mm wood and acrylic |
The narrowest part is the thinnest neck that holds the design together; sharp tips are not counted. For wood and acrylic, keep it at least as wide as the sheet is thick. How to open the file in Cricut, Silhouette and laser software.
